Rahman Zom
Rahman Zom is a lesser-known peak in the Hindu Kush range, standing at 6,236 meters (20,459 feet) in the Chitral District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Located east of the main Buni Zom massif, it has seen very little climbing activity compared to peaks like Tirich Mir and Noshaq. Its remote location and technical challenges attract seasoned alpinists in search of rarely climbed summits.
Many surrounding peaks in the Buni Zom group and Hindu Raj remain unclimbed, offering opportunities for first ascents. Access is typically from Chitral, with the valleys around Mastuj and Laspur serving as gateways. The region features glaciers, rugged ridges, and deep valleys, creating a wild and remote landscape.
