(Pakora Pass trek 4720 M) The Pakora Pass Trek is an adventurous and off-the-beaten-path trek in the in northern Pakistan. It is celebrated for its breathtaking scenery, cultural richness, and challenging terrain. Pakora Pass (4710m) links the Naltar Gah and Pakora Gol. Shani and Sentinel peaks attract climbers. Naltar villagers speak Shina, and Pakora villagers speak Khowar. It offers panoramic views of towering peaks, serene alpine meadows, glacial rivers, and remote valleys. Moderately strenuous to highly challenging, depending on the chosen route. Opportunity to interact with local
communities, often indigenous to these remote areas, offering a glimpse into their traditional lifestyle and hospitality. Summer (June to September): Best weather, with clear skies and accessible trails. Autumn (September to October): Cooler temperatures and vibrant fall colors. The trek demands a good level of fitness due to long walking hours, steep ascents, and rugged trails. Warm clothing, sturdy trekking boots, sleeping bags, and camping equipment are essential. The area is home to species like ibex, snow leopards, and Himalayan birds. Trekking involves crossing glacial streams, which can be both exciting and challenging.
